Technician of the City of Knowledge Foundation

Are you looking to work as a technical professional in the Fundación Ciudad del Saber in Panama? The Temporary Permit in the Quality of Technician of the Fundación Ciudad del Saber(PRT-4FCS) allows foreigners to enter the country for a period of up to six years as a researcher, professor, entrepreneur, technician or student. This permit is prorated annually, unless otherwise stated by special laws.

To apply for this permit, you will need to provide the following:

1.    Power of attorney and application (notarized and with respective fiscal stamps)

2.    Three photographs

3.    A copy of your passport (notarized or authorized)

4.    A health certificate

5.    A form of declaration of personal background

6.    A certification from the Fundación Ciudad del Saber through its Executive Director, which states the existence of the company, the foreigner's role and the term of their stay in the country

7.    A letter of responsibility from the company stating the activity and salary of the technician

If you wish to renew your permit, you will only need to present the above-mentioned requirements again.
