Teacher of the City of Knowledge Foundation

The Republic of Panama's Ministry of Public Safety, through the National Migration Service, offers a Temporary Permit for foreign individuals to enter the country as teachers at the Fundación Ciudad del Saber (City of Knowledge Foundation). This permit is valid for a period of up to six years and can be renewed annually, subject to special laws.

1.     To apply for this permit, the following requirements must be met:

2.    A notarized power of attorney and corresponding fiscal stamps.

3.    Three photographs

4.    A verified copy of the passport

5.    A health certificate

6.    A Declaration of Personal Background form

7.    A certification or document proving suitability as a teacher, issued in the country of origin

8.    A certification from the City of Knowledge Foundation through its Executive Director, confirming the existence of the educational center, the role of the foreign individual, and the length of their stay in the country

9.    A letter of responsibility from the educational center outlining the teacher's role and salary
