Key Requirements and Application Process:

  2. Valid Travel Card Fee: A payment of one hundred balboas (B/.100.00) is necessary for a valid travel card associated with the requested permit.
  3. Repatriation Deposit Contribution: A certified check is required, payable to the National Migration Service. The amount is two hundred balboas (B/.200.00), which is non-refundable and contributes to the Repatriation Deposit. Applicants under twelve years old are exempt from this payment.
  4. Tax Obligations Contribution: Another certified check is needed, payable to the National Treasury, for an amount of one hundred fifty balboas and 00/100 (B/.150.00). This contribution is for tax obligations.

Other Key Points:

  • The Temporary Protection Permit is granted for a unique period of two years, individually for each applicant, and it cannot be extended.
  • It does not cover dependents. This permit allows beneficiaries to reside in Panama and fulfill their tax, social security, health, and general legal obligations during the designated period.
