This permit allows for individuals who work for embassies, consulates, delegations, foreign government representations, and international organizations on official missions, not covered by diplomatic status according to national laws or international conventions, to reside in Panama for up to six years.
To obtain this permit, there are certain requirements that must be met. These include a Power of Attorney and application form that is notarized, three photographs, a copy of the passport that has been authenticated by a notary or the corresponding authority, a Criminal Background Check, a Health Certificate, a certified check for B/.250.00 in favor of the National Treasury, a certified check for B/.800.00 in favor of the National Migration Service, a Declaration of Personal Background form, a certification from the embassy, consulate, or foreign delegation where the applicant is working, and an accreditation from the Department of Privileges and Immunities of the Ministry of Foreign Relations.
