The Republic of Panama's Ministry of Public Security and National Migration Service offers a Temporary Resident Permit for foreign participants in the Fullbright Educational and Cultural Exchange Program. To apply for this permit, several requirements must be met.
Firstly, a legal power of attorney and application must be obtained from a notary. Additionally, three photographs, a copy of the passport, a criminal background check (if over 18),a health certificate, and a personal background declaration form are required.
Additionally, a certification proving the applicant's status as a Fullbright program beneficiary, a letter of responsibility from the Fullbright program's management entity, a certification of the program's economic funding, proof of relationship (such as a birth, marriage, or guardianship certificate), and incase of being over 18 and under 25, a certification of full-time and regular enrollment in an educational institution, a certificate of being single, and proof of residence are needed.
It's important to note that all documents from foreign countries must be legalized. The fees for this process are not included in the above list.
