According to Article 52 of the National Migration Service's regulations, individuals seeking a short stay visa for medical treatment must meet the common requirements outlined in Article 28 of the Decree Law, with the exception of requirement 4. Additionally, the following specific requirements must be met:
1. Submission of a visa application form
2. Medical certification from the applicant's home country, indicating the illness or treatment required, signed and stamped by the attending physician.
3. Confirmation letter from a medical center in Panama, specifying the treatment to be received, the name of the attending physician, and the estimated cost and duration of treatment.
4. Proof of the applicant's financial solvency, or that of a resident family member, designated guardian, or accompanying individual
5. Payment of immigration service fees in the amount of B/.100.00
6. Copy of a valid passport or travel document with a minimum of 3 months remaining before expiration
7. Confirmed flight reservation with a confirmed continuation itinerary.
8. Copy of identification or residence permit from the applicant's home country, if applicable
9. Three passport-sized photographs
10. Confirmed hotel reservation, if necessary
